Lady GaGa is enjoying her second week at number one with her single Poker Face.
The New York-based singer's last single Just Dance spent three weeks at the top of the charts earlier this year.
Right Round by Flo Rida featuring Kesha dropped one place to three while Beyonce climbed five places to number four with Halo.
AR Rahman featuring the Pussycat Dolls climbed 15 places to take fifth spot with Jai Ho (You Are My Destiny).

Jamie Gold's "Team Aced" Wins Dream Team Poker Tournament

Jamie Gold has another title to add to his resume and just like his 2006 World Series of Poker Main Event win, he’s going to have to share the winnings. This time though, that was the point.
Team Aced, which included Gold, Ashley Nataupsky and Houston Waldie, walked away with the Dream Team Poker title and the $59,000 first place prize thanks to Nataupsky’s 4th place showing and Gold’s 9th place finish. Waldie busted on the first day of play but thanks to the unique Dream Team format he’ll still get to call himself a champion. Each three-person team is awarded points based on their overall finish and the team with the most points is declared tournament champion. (More)

Florida Gaming Law Changes...SUCK!

It seems that Florida could be on the verge of radically changing its gaming laws. But the difference between the two pieces of legislation - one in the House and one in the Senate - may be the difference between the life and death of poker in the state. The Florida House of Representatives is currently examining a proposal that would dramatically reduce the amount of poker that is played in the state. The legislation moving through the House looks to rid many casinos of card games, as well as blackjack and baccarat, entirely, which would affect resorts like the Hard Rock Resort & Hotel and six other Seminole-run casinos, as they would only be allowed to offer slot machine action for their customers. Dream Team Poker today announced the team lineup for their upcoming tournament to be held at the prestigious poker room at Caesars Palace Las Vegas from March 27-29, 2009. With only 2 days left to register, the event is exceeding capacity, has surpassed expectations and has become the most anticipated tournament of 2009.

Soon. It’s coming soon.That’s what the poker community has been told about Congressional action regarding the reversal of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA). This week, it has become much clearer just how soon poker players can expect that action. “I expect that we will introduce the legislation in 2-3 weeks.
