MIKE MATASOW WINS TWICE!

That's right the original Poker Donkey win twice during this WSOP 2008. Not only did he win another bracelt for Event 18 No-Limit 2-7 Draw Lowball but he won a prop bet in which he lost 60 lbs in one year. Of course he said that he had to starve himself that last week to do it but who cares. Good Job Mike! Also congrats to Danny Negraneu . "Kid Poker" won Event 20 $2000 Limit Hold Em event then promptly made an ass of himself. Check out Episode 23 of POKERDONKEYS! to see what I mean. Here is this week's WSOP 2008 recap!

EPISODE 23-POKER DONKEYS!

Better Late Than Never!
Well we did a show this week. I didn't know if we were but after a few technical glitches (of course) I think the show was alright. We actually spent a lot of time talking about poker. We also spent some time talking about things that still disturb me. Listen to episode 23 to find out what. Well WSOP is going strong and we talk about poker becoming NASCAR. Tune in to the next show on Saturday 6/14/2008 which should be our 3 hour poker spectacular! Join us live on Talkshoe.com! Keep playing like donkeys!

California Rocks!

Legal Online Poker maybe on it's way in California!
The California Gambling Control/Intrastate Online Poker Legalization Act recently passed the State Assembly and has moved to the State Senate for action. Poker Voters of America President Jim Tabilio reacted to the passage with this statement: "We hope to have this bill passed through the Legislature by the end of August
and signed into law in the fall,"
One of the sponsors of the bill Assemblyman Levine told Interactive Gaming News prior to AB 2026's advance to the State Senate. "I'm hopeful that within a little over a year, you'll be able to have legal Internet poker in California." If this passes I'll be able to legally lose money online! Yea!

EPISODE 22-UB CHEATS/WSOP IS ON!/SITE OF THE WEEK!

Good and sober show. It was going smoothly untill Slade mumbled his way through the "10 cent poker stake" so email us for the rules. Yes I gave away that I posted when I'll be playing for the Donkey Hunt on pokerstars and I'll do it again but not this post. Anyway in case you missed it here is the POKER DONKEYS! SITE OF THE WEEK!
Warning there's no nudity on the site. I'm sure Slade bought a few items for himself....ill...barf!
Good luck Degens!

YOU DON'T MESS WITH THE NENAD!

NENAD MEDIC!
WSOP 2008's first bracelet goes to Serbia's favorite son Nenad Medic who won the $10,000 Pot Limit Hold Em Event. Coming from 8th place to 1st place wasn't easy for this ZOHAN look alike! He had to kick the living crap out of some of today's top players like Andy Bloch, Mike Sexton, Phil Laak, Kathy Liebert, and Patrik Antonius. For his efforts Nenad gets $794,112 and pretty little bracelet. Congrats Nenad now go kick some butt!

ULTIMATE CHEATERS!

UB released a statement concerning the use of SUPER USER accounts that had the ability to see players hole cards. The current owners released this statement:
"The individuals responsible were found to have worked for the previous ownership of UltimateBet prior to the sale of the business to Tokwiro in October 2006. Tokwiro is taking full responsibility for this situation and will immediately begin refunding UltimateBet customers for any losses that were incurred as a result of unfair play."
Tokwiro also owns Absolute Poker. I wonder if someone else owned that site before them as well? Anyway you can follow all the sorted details in this article:
