Legal Online Poker maybe on it's way in California! The California Gambling Control/Intrastate Online Poker Legalization Act recently passed the State Assembly and has moved to the State Senate for action. Poker Voters of America President Jim Tabilio reacted to the passage with this statement: "We hope to have this bill passed through the Legislature by the end of August
and signed into law in the fall,"

One of the sponsors of the bill Assemblyman Levine told Interactive Gaming News prior to AB 2026's advance to the State Senate. "I'm hopeful that within a little over a year, you'll be able to have legal Internet poker in California." If this passes I'll be able to legally lose money online! Yea!
