IT HAS BEGUN!

The WORLD SERIES OF POKER 2008 has begun with Event 1 "The $10,000 no amatures allowed Danny Negraneu cry baby pot limit hold em" (man that's a long title). The apex of the poker universe is ongoing and like every year I can't wait to see you wins the main event! Except that I have to wait 3 STINKING MONTHS! On a recent interview Jeffery Pollack (Commissionaire WSOP) stated that waiting 3 months will build anticipation like waiting for the winner of the Apprentice. Ahh, Jeff, they cancelled that show. YOUR FIRED! Anywhoo I linked a cool article which has the complete WSOP 2008 schedule on the bottom of the page. You can scroll down if you get tired of reading after 20 words. EPISODE 20-WE'RE BACK!

Yes indeed finally after two months we finally have a new show on Talkshoe.com and Itunes. Thanks to all you Poker Degens for emailing while we were gone. The break had to do with stupidity and laziness combined. Slade and I have known each other along time and with any long term relationships (platonic of course) there are arguments. This last one lasted two months but it's over now. So now we are back reintroducing the show to the world. Of course this show had technical problems mostly on Slade's part that's because he lives in the middle of Nowhere, Lousiana. Move out of the sticks buddy! I really did listen to the other poker shows while we were gone and they do suck ass! Moving on we brought up a few poker topics on the show...wow! So now we would like to hear from you our beloved POKER DEGENS (Degenerates is case you were wondering) What do you think about....

1. Is waiting 3 months to play the WSOP main event final table a good idea?
2. Is the "Poker Boom" finally over?

GSN SUCKS!

GSN sucks like a porn star! Why? Because they are dropping what has to be the best poker show on TV, HIGH STAKES POKER! Not only are they dropping HSP they may not pick up WPT either. We're going to be stuck watching "The Bachlorette" nooooo! Slade's right we need a Poker Channel contact your satellite and cable provider.
